1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40

This 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 was part of a custom build performed by Legend 4×4 in South Salt Lake, Utah, as part of a giveaway contest hosted by both Legend 4×4 and Cruiser Gear. Power is from an FJ60-sourced 4. 2L 2F inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The replacement aluminum tub and bodywork are finished in Cement Grey with a white removable hardtop. Additional equipment includes a custom rear tailgate, Old Man Emu suspension components, reupholstered seats, and removable doors. The Aqualu aluminum tub was fitted with a 1978 FJ40-sourced hood, CCOT reproduction fenders, and 1970 FJ40-sourced aprons before being refinished in Cement Grey by A&T Auto Body and AFI Paint & Supply in Utah, and the removable hardtop was refinished in white. Features include a custom fold-down rear tailgate and replacement lighting. The replacement 15? wheels were provided by Larry H. Miller Toyota of Murray, Utah, and Greg Miller of the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum. They are wrapped in 33×10.
