Description
This 1956 Austin-Healey 100 BN2 roadster is finished in red over a black and red interior and is powered by a 2,660cc inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission with an electric overdrive unit. The car has been modified with a 100M Le Mans conversion kit, and equipment includes a black folding soft top, a reclining windshield, a louvered bonnet, 15? knock-off wire wheels, four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes, and twin SU carburetors. Additional equipment includes a black folding soft top, chrome bumpers with overriders, and exposed chrome trunk hinges. 15? knock-off wire wheels are wrapped in 165-series Michelin X Radial tires. Braking is provided by four-wheel hydraulic drums, and the car rides on an independent front suspension with coil springs along with a live rear axle with leaf springs. The selling dealer states that the shocks have been rebuilt. The interior features black upholstery with red piping, black carpets, and a chrome passenger grab handle. The trunk is lined in patterned vinyl and houses a full-size spare tire with a leather hold-down strap. The wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level. A Stewart-Warner ammeter is mounted on the right side of the dash.
