23K-Mile 2000 BMW M5

This 2000 BMW M5 shows just 23,336 miles and was sold new in North Carolina. The 4. 9-liter DOHC V8 and 6-speed manual gearbox have been left stock, and modifications consist of later-model head lights, navigation unit, grey gauge faces, and steering wheel. Exterior cosmetics appear nice overall in the 90+ photo gallery, with only a few minor flaws noted. Factory 18� alloy wheels wear Michelin Pilot Sport tires that were reportedly fitted less than 5k miles ago. The original headlights were upgraded to facelift OEM Angel Eye headlights. The rest of the exterior has been kept stock, though a matching set of post-facelift taillights will also be included. In these pictures, the cabin appears to be in similarly well-preserved condition front and rear. This M5 was optioned with fold-down rear seats which incorporate a ski pass-through; the OEM ski bag is included. The updated OEM steering wheel and 16:9 navigation unit are replacements from the later face-lifted E39 M5, as is the updated instrument cluster with pixel repair. All features and functions are claimed to be fully functional, including the notoriously brittle fold-away front cup holders. The aluminum 4. 9-liter DOHC V8 has been left stock mechanically and received an oil change just prior to this auction. These motors produced peaks of around 400 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque with an 11. 0:1 compression ratio and 7,000 rpm redline.
