Description

This 1967 Buick GS400 is one of 422 convertibles produced for the model year that were powered by a 400ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes power steering, front disc brakes, 14? Rallye wheels with red-stripe tires, a center console with a factory tachometer, a tilt steering column, and an AM/FM stereo with a trunk-mounted CD changer. The car was finished in Burgundy Mist (N) from the factory and was refinished in Violet Red Metallic during a 2014 refurbishment, at which time a replacement power-operated black soft top was installed. Equipment includes chrome front and rear bumpers, front fender trim, wheel lip moldings, as dual side mirrors as well as GS400 badges and dual exhaust outlets. Close-up photos of the paint and chrome are provided in the gallery. The car is equipped with power steering and power-assisted front vented disc and rear drum brakes. The bucket front seats were retrimmed in black vinyl, and the cabin features a full-length center console with a factory tachometer. Amenities include power windows, a heater, lap belts, a polished Hurst shifter, GS-logo rubber floor mats, and a vintage-look aftermarket AM/FM stereo with a trunk-mounted CD changer. The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a tilt column and frames a 120-mph horizontal speedometer, a fuel gauge, warning lights, and an analog clock. Total mileage is unknown.
