This is a true California survivor built in Los Angeles, still retaining all its original American made parts. The Champagne paint shines great and has a nice contrast with the Country Squire wood paneling which is also in great shape. The body is straight and solid with no rust or corrosion. All of the floors are solid with no rust. All of the chrome bumpers are in great shape with no pitting or dents. The chrome grille and stainless bezels/emblems are in fantastic condition. The original wheels and hubcaps were replaced with American Racing Mag wheels that are period correct and in great shape. All of the original glass is in good shape. The luggage rack has no pitting and is in great shape. Overall cosmetically this wagon is a real looker. It is hard trying to find any cosmetic flaws other than it is a 59 year old car and minor little scratches or dings. What you see is what you get there are no hidden surprises this one of the nicest original 1963 Country Squires available. This car has spent a lifetime inside therefore it has been preserved very well. Step inside this car and you're stepping back into 1963. The interior is very original and in fantastic shape, this car has been kept inside for the majority of its life. The headliner has no flaws. The Seats are in great shape with no rips or tears, they have been reupholstered in the original Beige upholstery. The carper has no wear along with the 1963 Ford floormats. The dash is in great shape with the stainless gauge cluster and fixtures all with the iconic space age styling looks fantastic. The iconic white Galaxie steering wheel is in great shape with no cracks. The door panels are in great shape with no rips or discoloration. All of the gauges are functional. The Radio is functional as well as the heater and Air Conditioning. The power rear tailgate works as it should and really has no wear in the trunk. This was a well kept garaged wagon and after 62 years it really shows.Mechanically this car is a good runner and driver. The "Thunderbird" Z code 390 V8 fires up and runs strong. The original engine paint is even in great shape and has not peeled off after all these years. The Cruise-O-Matic 3 speed shifts smooth in all gears. The brakes work as they should including the emergency brake. The Air Conditioning works great and blows cold. All of the lights are functional as well as the classic 1963 horn. This is a turnkey cruiser that is ready to roll.
