1959 MG MGA Twin Cam Roadster

This 1959 MGA was refurbished in the 1990s and is one of approximately 1,800 Twin Cam roadsters produced during a three-year production run. The body is finished in red over black, and power is provided by a 1,588cc twin-cam inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include chrome trim, leather hood straps, front and rear Lucas fog lamps, and 15” knock-off steel wheels. Maintenance within the last year has reportedly included changing the fluids and replacing the front crankshaft pulley oil seal. The exterior was refinished in Orient Red during the refurbishment, and features include leather hood straps, front and rear Lucas fog lamps, a cut-down windscreen, and chrome bumpers and trim. A black soft top, side curtains, and tonneau are included in the sale, and close-up photos of the body panels and brightwork can be viewed in the gallery. Silver 15” Dunlop knock-off wheels are wrapped in 165-series Pirelli Cinturato tires. Braking is handled by Dunlop discs at all four corners, and a full-size spare is mounted in the trunk. The cockpit features black leather bucket seats with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a dash-mounted rear-view mirror, a central armrest, a heater, and door pockets.
