Description

The body and interior are finished in yellow and black, and power is from a 350ci V8 backed by an automatic transmission. Other details include 17? billet aluminum wheels, power-assisted steering and disc brakes, electric windows, a Classic Instruments gauge cluster, Pioneer audio components, a smoothed engine bay, and more. Fewer than 2k miles have been driven since completion of the work, and an oil change was performed by the selling dealer in preparation for the sale. The convertible variant of Chevrolet’s full-size platform was available only with the Bel Air trim package for the 1956 model year, and featured two-tone paint with side spears and additional brightwork. The black convertible top stows beneath a matching vinyl boot and is pictured both raised and lowered. Polished 17? aluminum wheels from Billet Specialties wear 225/50 Nitto NT450 Extreme Performance tires with 2009 and 2010 date codes. Vacuum-assisted brakes feature discs up front and drums in the rear. The ride height has been lowered on drop spindles and aftermarket leaf springs. A modified front crossmember is mounted with Heidts control arms and Bilstein dampers as well as a power-assisted steering rack. The front and rear bench seats are trimmed with black and yellow upholstery stitched in a factory-style chevron pattern, and complementing two-tone door cards have also been fitted.
