Description
This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in silver over black upholstery. Equipment includes a black convertible soft top, 15â?³ turbine-style wheels, an AM radio, and concealed headlights. It is equipped with a replacement black soft top, flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust tips that exit through the rear valance. Turbine-style 15â?³ wheels wear three-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with BFGoodrich tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums. The cabin houses two bucket seats that have been re-trimmed in black and are complemented by replacement carpets. Appointments include a heater, an AM radio, and an analog clock. The three-spoke steering wheel frames an inoperative 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for amperage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. Total mileage is unknown.
