Description
This 1963 Triumph TR4 remained registered in Washington State from 1978 until 2010, at which time it was relocated to Oregon. The car has been modified with a five-speed manual transmission sourced from a Toyota Celica as well as a spin-on oil filter, PerTronix ignition, K&N filters, a secondary hood release, a kill switch and power point under the dashboard, and LED taillights. The Giovanni Michelotti-designed body is finished in British Racing Green (75), and it was repainted in 1981. The Surrey hardtop has an aluminum hard center panel and it has been modified with polycarbonate rear windows, and it was refinished in 2020. No soft top is included, and LED taillights have been installed. Chrome 15â?³ wire wheels mounted with 165/80 Nankang CX-668 tires were installed in 2014. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The cabin houses bucket seats upholstered in black leather that is visibly worn, and interior appointments include an AM radio, a locking glove box, a cabin heater, storage pockets, and a rear parcel shelf. A secondary hood release has been installed along with a kill switch and power point under the dashboard. The â??DBSCCâ? plaques on the glovebox door are from a rally put on by the Daytona Beach Sports Car Club according to the selling dealer.
