Description
This 1974 BMW 2002 is finished in Inka orange over tan cloth and vinyl and is powered by a carbureted 2. 0-liter M10 inline-four linked with a five-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. The engine was rebuilt in 2016 by La Jolla Independent in California with 10. 0:1 pistons and a Dave Ivey camshaft, and other modifications include Koni dampers, strut tower braces, modified front suspension geometry, a relocated battery, 14? BBS wheels, tucked bumpers, and Recaro front sport seats. The car is finished in Inka orange, and portions of the bodywork have been refinished in single stage paint that shows areas of orange peel and blending, as well as wear-through under the fuel filler cap. The US-market bumpers have been tucked in, and the car is equipped with a manually operated sunroof, an aftermarket chin spoiler, and dual-note air horns. 14? BBS wheels were sourced from an E30 3-Series and are mounted with 195/60 Falken Azenis tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. Recaro front sport seats and the rear bench are upholstered in tan cloth with black vinyl side panels, while the doors and rear side panels are trimmed in factory tan vinyl. Tan carpets cover the floors, and a Pioneer stereo with auxiliary input is installed in the center stack and paired with a JL 300/4 amplifier mounted under the rear seat, which powers dual 5? front speakers and a pair of Nakamichi 6?x9? rear speakers.
