Description
Mustang Fastback Restomod 713hp Supercharged Coyote V8 6 spd A/C /// The beneficiary of a ground-up restoration that wrapped all-original sheetmetal in silky black 2-stage, this well-done cruiser makes a habit of dropping jaws. That build, completed in 2018, championed classic style and world-class workmanship. That workmanship includes a sinister profile that, devoid of everything but a grille emblem, showcases fresh chrome, straight stainless and requisite window louvers. And the car's commanding presence is augmented by tintedglass, a matte Boss 429 hood and a matte Mach 1 deck spoiler. Hoist the pinned bonnet and you'll find 5.0 liters of smooth Coyote V8 that, thanks to a VMP Performance supercharger, spins an impressive 713 rear-wheel horsepower into 590 lb./ft. of stoplight-slaying torque! Behind that potent engine, a tough hydraulic clutch kicks a Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed, which spins a tough Currie 9-inch. That axle rolls on a triangulated Rod and Customs Motorsports 4-bar that's finished with a stiff sway bar and QA-1 coil-over-shocks. That clip pushes an upgraded Rod and Customs Motorsports front-half, which wraps a second beefy sway bar around tubular control arms and two more QA-1 coil-overs. Turns come courtesy of power rack-and-pinion steering. Stops are provided by trusty Wilwood calipers, which grip a quartet of drilled and slotted rotors. And at the corners, chrome US Mags wheels carry 245/45ZR17 front and 275/40ZR18 rear BF Goodrich g-Force Sports. Between the doors, a tastefully customized interior that wraps quality FatMat RattleTrap insulation around thick TMI buckets. A massaged dash hangs sporty Auto Meter Phantom telemetry next to modern Classic Auto Air conditioning. And the driver feels the Coyote's power through a polished steering wheel, which spins a thick, leather-wrapped rim around a tilting Ididit column and a tight Hurst shifter.
