Description
This 1979 Land Rover 109 Series III is a left-hand-drive station wagon that was assembled by Metalurgica de Santa Ana S. A. in Spain, where it was acquired by the selling dealer two years ago and then underwent a body-off cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment. The work included refinishing its body and frame, refreshing its interior, and overhauling its suspension, brakes, and powertrain, which has a 2. 25-liter diesel inline-four linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. A safari roof, 16â?³ steel wheels, and inward-facing rear jump seats are additional elements. The truck was disassembled before it was refinished in blue during the project, and it has a galvanized front bumper and trim, replacement rivets and hardware, fender-mounted mirrors, and a vented double-skinned tropic roof with alpine windows. The 16â?³ steel wheels are mounted with 235/85 Kpatos FM523 M/T tires, and a matching spare is stored out back. PR2 Pro dampers are fitted, and braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel drums. Three-across front seats are trimmed in tan upholstery that extends to the dashboard.
