1976 Jeep CJ-5 V8 3-Speed

The body was removed from the frame and undercoated, polyurethane mounts and bushings were fitted, the engine was rebuilt, the front axle was rotated, the lighting, switches, and gauges were serviced, an aftermarket climate control system was installed, and the clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, shifter linkage, ring gear, rubber weatherstripping, chassis and suspension hardware, and exhaust and fuel system components were replaced. A Bestop folding soft top is fitted and equipment includes power steering, a suspension lift, 15� Dick Cepek wheels, a fold-down windshield, an HEI distributor, long-tube exhaust headers, and an Edelbrock intake manifold and four-barrel carburetor. Exterior details include a black folding Bestop soft top, a black bikini top, a padded roll bar, a steel front bumper, soft doors, wheel arch extensions, and dual side-exit tailpipes as well as bright windshield hinges, mirror covers, and hood latches. The windshield washer reservoir is missing. Dick Cepek 15� alloy wheels are wrapped in 31�10. 5� Mickey Thompson Deegan 38 M/T tires, and a matching spare is mounted to the rear. The truck is equipped with a suspension lift and power-assisted steering. Stopping power is provided by drum brakes at all four corners. The front bucket seats and rear bench seat are trimmed in black vinyl, and additional equipment includes a glovebox, a roll bar, a passenger grab handle, seat belts, and air conditioning. Bedliner material has been applied to the floor.
