Description
This 1940 Cadillac Series 62 convertible sedan is finished in Chicory Green over tan leather with a black canvas top and is powered by a 346ci V8 mated to a three-speed manual transmission. This Cadillac is believed to be a California car originally and later came to the East Coast. It reportedly was subject to a body-on restoration in 2004 and more recently has been serviced by Stone Barn Automobile Restoration of New Jersey. 1940 was the second-to-last year for the convertible sedan body style, and the Series 62 rides on a 129â?³ wheelbase. Two sets of louvers adorn the engine-cover side panels, and sealed-beam headlamps and turn indicators were standard equipment. The car also has dual outside mirrors. This car reportedly was repainted in 2004, and a black canvas top is fitted. The 16â?³ steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and are mounted with Hankook LT 215/85 wide whitewall tires. With front and rear bench seats, the Series 62 convertible sedan seats six. The rear seat features a fold-down center armrest, and lap belts have been added.
