Description

This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 coupe was built in Los Angeles, California on October 19, 1968, and was delivered new to Ron Tonkin Chevrolet in Portland, Oregon. A multi-year refurbishment was completed in 2020, and the car was purchased by the selling dealer that year. It is finished in Rallye Green with white stripes over ivory vinyl upholstery, and power comes from a replacement 302ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt Posi-traction rear end with 3. 73:1 gears. Features include 15â?³ Rally wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, a Gardner chambered exhaust system, a Hurst shifter, and a Delco push-button AM radio. A replacement rear main seal, oil pan gaskets, spark plugs, and a distributor shaft were installed by the selling dealer, who also rebuilt the carburetor. It received new glass and a replacement trunk lid before it was repainted in its factory color during the refurbishment which concluded in 2020. Features include chrome bumpers and wheel arch trim, a flat hood, T-3 headlights, a driver-side mirror, and Z/28 badges. The silver-painted 15â?³ Rally wheels received replacement center caps and trim rings during the refurbishment and are fitted with Goodyear Wide Tread GT E70-15 bias-ply tires. A steel spare wheel is fitted in the trunk.
