Description
in Roanoke, Virginia. Power is provided by a 361ci Golden Commando V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. By 1960, the Fury replaced the Belvedere as Plymouthâ??s top-of-the-line model, with a four-door sedan and four-door hardtop joining the previous two-door hardtop and convertible models on a new-for-1960 unibody platform. Paint touchups are also noted. Red-painted 14â?³ steel wheels wear full covers and American Classic wide whitewall tires, and a set of bias-ply whitewall tires are included in the sale. The refreshed cabin features red seating with textured cloth inserts complemented by black carpeting and bright trim. The push-button AM radio has been rebuilt according to the selling dealer, and features include full-width sun visors, an analog clock, and lap belts for the front occupants. A floating instrument pod resides atop the tiered dash fascia and houses the Teleview 120-mph speedometer along with directional indicators and battery and oil pressure warning lamps. Note the push-button transmission controls to the left of the instruments. Actual mileage is unknown.
