Description
Equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, a black soft top, and a push-button AM/FM radio. The fiberglass body is finished in Marlboro Maroon (988AA) and features split chrome bumpers, aluminum rocker-panel moldings, fender gills, and dual exhaust outlets with chrome tips that extend through the rear valance. Close-up images of the aged soft top and finish flaws that include chips, nicks, checking, and cracks are also pictured. During a rebuild of the brakes, the calipers and master cylinder were sleeved with stainless steel, and the lines were replaced. The cabin features black vinyl bucket seats with matching dash pads, door panels, and carpeting. Brushed-aluminum trim adorns the console and the glovebox door. Amenities include a clock, ventilation controls, and a vertically mounted Delco AM/FM radio in the center stack. A woodgrain steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer flanked by gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The water pump, distributor, carburetor, alternator, and starter were rebuilt during the engine overhaul, and the battery and battery cables were replaced. A replacement fuel pump, fuel lines, and Chevrolet fuel tank have been installed, and the removed tank is included in the sale.
