Description
This is an early CSX4000 Cobra that was manufactured by Shelby American in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1999. It was completed by Nostalgia Motorcars Ltd. The engine is a aluminum 427 Shelby side-oiler backed by a Tremec TKO 5-speed. It has a clean British Columbia title. The interior features black leather buckets with Simpson 4-point harnesses. A chrome roll hoop is mounted behind the driver seat. A full array of Smiths gauges is located in the dash, as is a pull handle for a fire system. The engine has just been given a fresh oil change. The car received a high-quality black paint job and wet sand/polish 1 year ago. Wheels are alloy knock-offs with safety wires, and tires are period style Goodyear Eagles. The front fenders wear stealth racing stripes as well as Terlingua Racing Team decals. The very early cars had serialized fiberglass bodies, unique to bodies that were made in the USA by Shelby American in Las Vegas. The body on this car is #115.
