Description
This 1971 Porsche 914 was converted to a track car in the mid-2000s and is powered by a fuel-injected 3. 2L flat-six paired with a 901 five-speed manual transaxle with a billet aluminum intermediate plate and a limited-slip differential. The body features steel fender flares along with a fiberglass hood, decklid, rockers, and valances, and it is finished in orange and black over a race-prepped interior housing a roll cage, Sparco seats, NRG four-point harnesses, aluminum floor boards, and a MOMO steering wheel. Additional equipment includes 16â?³ Fuchs wheels, Porsche 944 turbo brakes, a Dave Wong ECU chip, a J-West shifter, a removable Targa top, and LED driving lights. LED driving lights were added to the fog light housings, and additional equipment includes a fiberglass Targa top, hood and decklid pins, exterior decklid latches, and a battery cutoff switch. The pop-up headlights and motors have been removed along with the side and rear window glass and windshield wipers. The 16â?³ Fuchs measure 8â?³ up front and 9â?³ out back, and they are mounted with Toyo Proxes RR tires sized 225/50 and 245/45 respectively. Stopping power is provided by 944 Turbo four-wheel discs with slotted rotors, Pagid pads, and a 19mm Mercedes-Benz master cylinder. The emergency brake has been removed, and a Wilwood bias adjuster is mounted on the bulkhead behind the driverâ??s seat. Bilstein shocks and a Tarett Engineering front sway bar and drop links have been installed.
