Description
This 1992 Acura NSX shows just 15,420 miles and is finished in Berlina Black over black. Aside from bumpers repainted due to age-related wear, the car retains its original finish and is powered by a 3. 0 liter VTEC V6 mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. In February 2017, it was serviced by John Eagle Acura in Houston, Texas with a new timing belt and water pump, and four new tires were just fitted. The original bill of sale showing a purchase price of $67,521. Paint meter readings are shown in the photo gallery. A 40-hour detail job was recently performed and consisted of a steam cleaning, de-greasing, and detailing of the underside and engine compartment, as well as a single-stage paint correction and polish. Factory 15 front and 16 rear alloy wheels are wrapped in 205/50 and 225/50 Yokohama S-Drive tires installed on February 16, 2017. A four-wheel alignment performed at the same time, and the receipt for the tires and alignment specs are displayed in the gallery. The spare tire, jack, wrench, and air compressor remain in the front trunk. For the 1992 model year, all US-spec NSXs had a black fixed roof. The exterior is described to show only light signs of use upon close inspection, with factory window decals and paint pen markings still present. Inside, this NSX has been left stock down to its original black upholstery, carpeting, trim, and BOSE stereo system with a trunk-mounted CD changer. The recent detail included carpet shampooing and cleaning/conditioning of the leather. The 3. 0 liter VTEC V6 and 5-speed manual transmission have remained unmodified from new. In 1992, power was rated at a peak of 270 horsepower with a redline of 8,000 rpm. On February 13, 2017 less than 30 miles ago, this NSX was given a full service by John Eagle Acura in Houston, Texas. Work included a complete inspection, new timing belt and water pump, new engine belts, gaskets and seals, a new hydraulic tensioner, fluids, filters, and a new battery. The total cost came to $3,014. The NSX incorporated an extensive use of aluminum in its construction including many of the suspension components shown above. All surfaces appear quite clean after the recent detail. 31 records are displayed including six services and consistent mileage readings throughout the years.
