Description
A repaint in white was performed following the installation of replacement body panels, and the exterior features side-exit exhaust pipes, 15? turbine-style wheels, and an integrated reverse lamp. Power-assisted Wilwood brakes were added, and the suspension was refreshed with Bilstein shocks and additional components sourced from Vette Brakes and Products. The interior has been updated with blue leather seats with headrests, and additional equipment includes a white soft top, power steering, electric windows, air conditioning, and more. The fiberglass body was removed from the frame and refinished in Ermine White following replacement of the driver-side front fender and inner wheel well due to prior accident damage. Photos showing the white soft top in its raised position are provided in the gallery, along with a handful of images showing the body-colored hardtop. Reproduction 15? turbine-style wheels are equipped with three-eared knock-off spinners and mounted with BFGoodrich Advantage T/A Sport tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted Wilwood brakes with drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners. The suspension was refreshed with Bilstein shocks and a VBP kit, including replacement sway bars, bushings, front springs, a rear mono-leaf spring, rear trailing arms, and more. A Borgeson power steering box has reportedly been added. Later-model bucket seats from a 1967 Corvette with headrests were fitted with replacement springs, foam, and leather upholstery reportedly sourced from Al Knoch.
