Description
This 1967 Sunbeam Tiger is a Mk 1A model finished in Forest Green over black, and it is powered by a Ford 260ci V8 paired with a Toploader four-speed manual transmission and a Dana 44 rear axle. Equipment includes a black folding soft top, a black removable tonneau cover, an Edelbrock intake, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, a PerTronix electronic ignition conversion, power-assisted front disc brakes, and a Motorola AM radio modified with FM band and auxiliary input capability. The body was reportedly stripped and refinished in Forest Green (86) during the late 1990s refurbishment and features a black convertible soft top and a black removable tonneau cover from Sunbeam Specialties. 13? steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and period slotted beauty rings, and are wrapped in 185/80 Maxxis MA-1 thin whitewall tires. Welded “Traction Masters” traction bars are installed on the rear axle. The interior was refreshed during the late-90s refurbishment and features black vinyl bucket seats, matching carpets and door panels, a black dash pad, and a re-laminated burled walnut dash face. A replacement wiring harness from Sunbeam Specialties was installed during the refurbishment work. A fire extinguisher is fitted behind the passenger seat, and the Motorola AM radio has been modified with FM band and auxiliary input connectivity. The left turn signal switch does not work, and wear is noted on the upper driver’s seat. The wood two-spoke steering wheel is covered in an aftermarket wrap and fronts factory instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for amperage, oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level.
