Description
This 1968 Pontiac Firebird is finished in blue over teal vinyl, and its replacement 400ci V8 is paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The car was delivered new in Aleutian Blue (L) and has been fitted with a dual-scoop hood, a rear decklid emblem, and a 1967 front valance. The rear fender wells have been shaved to accommodate the lower stance of the car. The teal vinyl interior features matching door panels, rear trim, and lap belts. A Clarion cassette player is mounted in the factory location. Additional work performed at that time included replacing the intake manifold, battery and battery tray, radiator, and coolant hoses as well as refinishing the engine bay. The 650-cfm Holley four-barrel carburetor has recently been tuned. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The rear of the car has been lowered, and the tailpipes have been replaced. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery.
