Description
The car is finished in burgundy over tan cloth upholstery, and power comes from a 282ci straight-eight paired with a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. Features include an independent front suspension, a Goddess of Speed hood ornament, running boards, and a heater. Body-color steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps, trim rings, and Firestone whitewall bias-ply tires. A spare wheel is stowed beneath the trunk floor. The Safe-T-Flex suspension features front upper A-arms mounted to lever-arm hydraulic shock absorbers, lower A-arms formed by control and torque arms, coil springs, and an anti-roll bar, while the solid rear axle is mounted with leaf springs and telescopic shock absorbers. Stopping power is provided by hydraulic drums at each corner. A color-coordinated headliner, door panels, and carpets are fitted, and equipment includes a heater, a painted woodgrain dashboard, and a locking glovebox. The clock and radio do not work. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, an ammeter, and gauges for water temperature, and oil pressure. The fuel-level gauge does not read accurately.
