Description
The car was refurbished between 2010 and 2013 by Korman Autoworks of Greensboro, North Carolina, and work included a repaint in Inka Orange, replacement of the hood, refinishing of the bumpers, modification of the interior, engine tuning and maintenance, and installation of a center-exit ANSA exhaust. A March 2020 service at German Car Repair in Alpharetta, Georgia included engine tuning, an E21 front brake upgrade, removal of an aftermarket alarm system, and replacement of the valve cover and distributor gaskets, the clutch pedal pad, and the crankcase breather hose. The body was refinished in its original Inka Orange by Korman Autoworks in January 2012 and features an ANSA center-exit exhaust system, an aftermarket front air dam, front fog lights, chrome bumpers and trim, tinted windows, removed rear emblems, and a trunk-lid-mounted BMW badge. Suspension modifications include front and rear strut tower braces and Bilstein rear shocks and lowering springs. 13â?³ BMW steel wheels are finished in two shades of gray and wear 185/70 Kumho Solus TA11 tires showing 2018 date codes. An E21 3-Series front brake upgrade was performed in March 2020. The interior is trimmed in black leatherette and features a sunroof and replacement front seats reportedly sourced from an E21 3-Series. Additional modifications include a wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel, a wood shift knob and emergency brake handle, an aftermarket dash-mounted gauge pod, a Blaupunkt CD player, air conditioning, and a speaker enclosure fitted in place of the rear seat. The clutch pedal pad was replaced in March 2020. A pair of tii-branded floor mats and the removed rear bench are included in the sale.
