Description
This 1974 Ford Capri was built over four years in the mid-2010s in the style of Basil Greenâ??s Capri Perana race cars and subsequently displayed at the 2017 SEMA show. Finished in a custom-mixed orange with a black half-wrap, the car is powered by a fuel-injected 347ci stroker V8 paired with a modified Tremec T5 five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes an Auburn Gear limited-slip differential, a carbon-fiber driveshaft, custom-fabricated steel fender flares, Vintage Wheel Works 15Ã?8â?³ and 10â?³ wheels, four-wheel disc brakes with Wilwood front calipers, adjustable front coilovers, leather-trimmed Recaro bucket seats, and a roll cage. The car is finished in a custom-mixed â??Vicious Orangeâ? and the right side is wrapped in satin black 3M vinyl. The stripes are also vinyl and each side of the hood nods to the buildâ??s inspirations.
