Power comes from a 3. 9-liter V8 paired with a replacement R380 five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Modifications include Hella driving lamps, a grille bar, and a new Rovers North Surrey top as well as a JVC stereo. The aluminum body is finished in Alpine White and features a Safari cage, black fender flares, and a rear step with an integrated tow ball. Five-spoke 16� alloy wheels wear BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires that were installed at 93k miles, and a full-size spare is mounted on a swing-away carrier at the rear. Four-wheel disc brakes and anti-sway bars were standard equipment on the NAS Defender. The cabin is trimmed in gray vinyl with black door panels and rubber floor mats.
