Description
Running and driving 1965 Porsche 912. I have a Clear Title and the Certificate of Authenticity stating the car to be as Follows: Matching Numbers Transmission # 160891 (902/0) Aga Blue Exterior Paint code 6608 Black Leatherette Interior Code B Optional Equipment Tinted Glass All Around Ventilated Chrome Wheels Antenna Good Year Tires Loudspeaker This car was built in Porsches Karmann Plant. The previous owner was a Professor at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville TN. It still wears the parking permit on the front and rear bumper from 1983. The car has been sitting for several years and the last license plate expired in August of 2000 ( the tag is still on the car). The car appears to have been painted Silver several years ago and is showing its age. The car does not have its original engine. From what I can tell the motor that is in it is out of a 1958 Porsche 356 (engine number 69295 616/15) that appears to have been put in the car several years ago. I have only driven the car a few miles but it seems to run and drive good. The Transmission, Clutch, and Brakes seem to work good as well. This would be a fun car to drive as is or a great car to restore.
