Description
This 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SE 3. 5 was originally delivered through Paul-E Cousin S. A. in Brussels, Belgium, as a hardtop coupe. It was later converted to a soft-top convertible and was imported into the US at some point between 1979 and 1996. Power is provided by a 3. 5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes air conditioning and a modified Becker Europa II radio with Bluetooth connectivity. The tan folding top features a soft rear window and a stainless header bar, and it is shown in both its raised and lowered position in the gallery. Additional equipment includes an ivory top boot, stainless wheel arch moldings, and stacked headlights. The C-pillar posts on the soft top are duct-taped together, and the hood ornament is missing, although a replacement unit is included in the sale.
