Description
This 1973 BMW 2002 has been modified with a 2. 3-liter S14 inline-four and five-speed manual transmission from an E30 M3, 2002 Turbo-style bodywork, a color change to Henna Red over black cloth Recaro seats, Ground Control coilovers with Koni dampers, adjustable camber plates, and more. Maintenance completed at CATuned of Sacramento, California included a mechanical inspection, installation of an Ireland Engineering big brake kit, suspension and steering adjustments, and coolant and brake fluid flushes. Additional exterior modifications installed by CATuned include a 2002 Turbo-style front valance, fender flares, and trunk lid spoiler. Refinished 15� BBS RS 207 wheels have been re-drilled to a 4�100 bolt pattern and fitted with replacement lips, center caps, and polished hardware as well as 185/55 Toyo Proxes tires showing DOT date codes from the 37th week of 2017. Suspension alterations include Ground Control coilovers with Koni dampers,  adjustable camber plates, and Ireland Engineering polyurethane sway bar bushings. The black interior was fitted with Recaro seats from a Volkswagen GTI, a retrimmed dash and door panels, and a replacement headliner and carpeting. The transmission tunnel has been modified to accommodate the five-speed gearbox, and additional sound deadening has been installed. Ireland Engineering billet cranks and handles have been fitted along with three-point front seatbelts and a rearview mirror with map lights from an E30 3-series, a Sony CD player with Bluetooth, and JBL 6�x9� rear speakers. A replacement instrument cluster from a 2002tii includes a five-digit odometer indicating 20k miles, with total chassis mileage unknown.
