37-Years-Owned 1973 BMW 3.0 CS 3.7L 5-Speed

This 1973 BMW 3. A cosmetic refresh between 2011-2012 included a repaint in the factory shade of Polaris Silver, along with replacing the wood trim and outfitting the blue interior with replacement carpets. A 3. 7-liter inline-six was installed in 2014 by Metric Mechanic, who also fitted a rebuilt Getrag five-speed manual transmission and an overhauled limited-slip differential at that time. Additional modifications include twin Weber carburetors, Korman suspension components, 15” BBS wheels, and a Momo steering wheel. The exterior was repainted in the original shade of Polaris Silver (60) in 2012 by Gassman Automotive in Waynesboro, Virginia. The glass and trim pieces were removed prior to the paintwork, and an area of corrosion on the left rocker panel and lower fender was repaired. A set of four factory 14” alloy wheels with polished covers is also included, in addition to a factory wheel serving as a spare. The suspension system has been updated with Korman components, and the tie rods and center link were replaced in 2016. The interior is trimmed in blue leather over seating for four, and replacement carpeting was fitted during a refresh eight years ago.
