1970 Land Rover 88 Series IIA

A 2014 overhaul by North American Overland of Monroe, Connecticut included corrosion repair, refinishing the body in blue, installation of a new tan canvas top and black vinyl seats, and fitting a replacement 2. 25-liter inline-four. Power is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox and a two-speed transfer case. The body was disassembled by North America Overland of Monroe, Connecticut, and corrosion was addressed before refinishing in Marine Blue in May 2014. Photos taken during the overhaul are available here. Trim was regalvanized on the corners, around the fuel tank, and elsewhere. The truck retains US-market orange and red reflectors as well as reverse lamps. Additional accessories include dual fender mirrors and a galvanized front bumper. Refinished 16â?³ steel wheels wear BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires, and a matching spare is mounted to the hood. The truck is equipped with power-assisted brakes, and the parking brake was adjusted in 2019.
