Description

This 1969 Chevrolet C10 Suburban was converted to an ambulance by Miller-Meteor of Piqua, Ohio, when new before serving in Hugo, Colorado. 0-liter L76 V8, a 6L80E six-speed automatic transmission, an air-ride suspension, adjustable RideTech HQ shocks, power steering, a JVC Bluetooth stereo, and Dakota Digital cruise control. The truck, dubbed the â??Slambulance,â? has been refinished in red and white with a raised rear roof and features replacement red vinyl front bench upholstery, Billet Specialties 20â?³ Smoothies wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, emergency lights, a gurney, and a CB radio. It was then clear-coated and features a raised roof, dual side mirrors, chrome bumpers, front and rear emergency lights, and a roof-mounted beacon. A dent on a lower front quarter panel was previously repaired, and door dings were filled in prior to the repaint. Paint chips are noted. Billet Specialties 20â?³ Smoothies are finished in semi-gloss black with bright lips and hubcaps and are mounted over converted five-lug hubs. Continental tires are mounted all around, and stopping power is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, with the front units sourced from a third-generation C/K and the master cylinder from a Corvette. A modern-ratio power steering unit was added during the build. The bench seat features red vinyl and replacement cloth upholstery along with color-coordinated lap belts and door panels.
