Description
This 1965 Ford Mustang is an A-code 289 convertible that was refurbished over the past 15 years. The car was repainted in 2008, and between 2021 and 2022 the brake system was overhauled, the three-speed automatic transmission was rebuilt, and the top-end of the motor was refreshed. It has been modified with a dual-circuit master cylinder, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, a Kenwood stereo, and aftermarket air conditioning, and the car also has styled-steel wheels, GT-style details, and bucket seats, and a white soft top. Exterior equipment includes a power-retractable white convertible soft top and chrome bumpers as well as GT-style exhaust outlets and front grille lights. The 14â?³ styled-steel wheels are mounted white-stripe tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed with Pony upholstery, and red carpeting lines the floors. The car has air conditioning and a Kenwood stereo. Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer flanked by fuel-level and water-temperature gauges. The 289ci V8 was factory rated at 225 horsepower.
