Description
Year: 1960s Make: Ginetta Model:Race Car The build involved installation of various replacement fiberglass body panels over a custom tube-frame chassis from Nicholls Engineering out of the UK as well as the addition of safety and racing equipment. Power is provided by a 1,350cc Ford Cortina pre-crossflow inline-four that was reportedly rebuilt in 2023, while shifting is via a four-speed manual transmission linked with a limited-slip differential. The car rides on 13â?³ Minilite-style wheels in addition to adjustable coilovers and is further equipped with four-wheel disc brakes, polycarbonate windows, and a side-exit exhaust system. Inside, the right-hand-drive cockpit houses a single fixed seat covered with blue upholstery accompanied by a RaceQuip harness, a MOMO steering wheel, and a roll cage. This G4 race car is now offered in Georgia on a bill of sale with a set of four Libre-style 13â?³ aluminum wheels and a collection of spare parts. When introduced in 1961, the G4 featured fiberglass body panels over a space frame constructed of round steel tubes and could be purchased in either turn-key or kit form. This car features a replacement round-tube steel chassis manufactured by Nicholls Engineering of the UK that was fitted with a number of replacement fiberglass body panels prior to a repaint in its current shade of green. The number 156 is painted on both side doors, and further exterior details include polycarbonate front and rear windows, an external kill switch, a side-exit exhaust system, and a front hinged bonnet with dual bulges. The 13â? Minilite-style wheels are mounted with Avon tires. The car rides on Spax adjustable coilovers at each corner, and anti-roll bars are fitted at the front and rear.
