Description

Year:1965 Make:Ford Model:Mustang Mileage:140000 1965 Mustang fastback 2+2, v8 A code engine. factory AC (removed but I still have it), Disk brakes, power steering. This car was part of the Schroll Estate Auction as seen on the Iron Trap Garage show. This is an early production Fastback that has a lot of early original 1964 ½ Mustang parts on it.such as:1964 ½ style hood with the stiffening skirts, no hood molding, and beveled headlight bezel (One was replaced). Black hood hinges Early door handle and window cranks, black window fuzzies, As far as I can tell it has original paint and body panels with correct date codes. There are several old school metal patch panels riveted in the usual rust prone spots.Car was stored inside on a concrete floor for 40 years. I spent 30,000 in parts and labor to get it back on the road. After driving it only a few times, something broke in the engine, either a connecting rod or possibly in the valve train so it will need an engine rebuild, but at 140,000 it probably needed it anyway..I have done a lot of research and have a lot of documentation about where it was sold originally and who owned it.VIN:5 Last Digit of Model Year (1965)F Assembly Plant (Dearborn, Michigan)09 BodySerial Code (09 is for the Fastback)A Engine Code (Challenger 289 Four Barrel Carb, 225 Horsepower)277065 Consecutive Unit Production Number Cyl CID Carb Horsepower Bore x Stroke Compression8 289 4V 225 4.000x2.870 10.0:1Door Data PlateWarranty Number 5F09A277065Year: 5 1965Plant: F Dearborn, MIBody Series: 09 2+2 FastbackEngine: A 289 4v V8Unit: 277065 Body 63A 2+2 Fastbackwith a Standard Interior Color J Rangoon Red.
