Description
This 1958 Chevrolet Impala convertible is powered by a 348ci V8 backed by a two-speed automatic transmission, and a triple-carburetor setup has been installed in place of the factory four-barrel. Additional equipment includes power steering, power brakes, and a Continental kit. Fluid changes and gasket replacements reportedly have been performed in preparation for the sale. Introduced for 1958, the first-generation Impala features quad headlamps, sculptured rear fenders, and model-specific triple taillights. Impala badging is located above the side spears and faux rear-fender vents. Corrosion development is shown along the undersides of the doors. The white convertible top is power operated. Painted 14? steel wheels are equipped with Chevrolet-branded covers and are mounted with wide-whitewall tires. A full-size spare with an older Firestone tire is housed in the Continental kit, and power-assisted drum brakes are fitted at all four corners. The interior features medium blue upholstery with patterned cloth inserts on the front and rear bench seats (827).
