1970 Chevrolet Chevelle 396 SS Yellow

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 Coupe Van Nuyâ??s Plant, build sheet Great project car - VERY RARE! This is an original off the line 1970 Chevelle 396 SS with Build Sheet. This is an iconic muscle car that was engineered to roar down the roadways. If you know your cars, you know that this is an awesome project and has the potential to be worth a lot of money...OR just a really cool car to restore for yourself. Car runs, strong engine and is drivable, but is a project car with rust in the usual places, and needs to be gone through completely. Engine cast number 3999290 is a 1972 engine 396/402. The paint is currently Yellow with Black racing stripes, original color was 78, Maroon, which is seen in areas under the Yellow. The mechanical build on this car is exceptional. Weiand intake manifold, Hedman Headers, Holley 4 barrel Carburetor, TH400 Automatic Transmission, 12 Bolt positraction rear end, Front and Rear Sway bars. Welding on frame on drivers side near wheel well. Wide back tires rub against wheel well which makes noise. It also features Power Brakes (front discs), Power Steering and aftermarket Kenwood Stereo/ Cassette. The interior is in good condition with some minor signs of use, see pictures for more information. New items installed in August 2018: new starter, new calipers (front disc brakes) and hoses, new 4 barrel Holley carburetor, new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, new distributor cap and rotor, new master cylinder, new radiator reservoir, all hoses and belts, new water pump, brake pads in front, all ?uids, took the gas tank down to find the build sheet, bled the brake ?uid lines.
