Description

* body and frame - very very solid , looks like 1 repaint that would be good driver paint with some scratches , chips, dings , scuffs, etc. looks good but i was going to eventually redo it and make it perfect . frame and floors no scale or rust , body seams including quarters door bottoms all clean and original , trunk floor, and inner, outer wheel houses immaculate , lower fender to cowl attachment original and solid (may have some body work in lower fenders but solid). core support and hood in very solid condition . around the windows looks very nice and clean . trim and bumpers look nice as well. *electrical looks all original including : fuse block, under dash, taillight harness and front headlight harness, engine harness looks good as well. only thing that i was a bit upset about was the modern cd player . i was going to change it out for the original radio eventually . * interior is very clean including : door panels , rear inner quarter panels , package tray , headliner , dash , front bucket seats and beautiful 4 speed console , steering wheel is nice as well and car has all working rally pack gauge set. i was going to change out the front plastic kick panels due to aftermarket speakers . I removed 1 bucket seat and took a picture of the seat under side and seat tracks and that can really really tell you a lot about the car(perfect) . The seat tracks are like new . the carpet is great , and under the carpet the floors are solid and original . *steering and suspension: i drove the car for a few summers the steering was very tight and drove straight, suspension was tight with no pulling and no rattles , the steering effort was what amazed me . it was the absolute nicest easiest car i have ever drove . steering effort with 1 finger (unreal) . car drove straight and nice with zero vibrations even with the old school biased ply tires and Creager wheels . brakes all worked great including emergency brake .boxed rear control arms with larger diameter front and rear sway bars , front disc brakes rear drum. * drive line and engine . clutch was smooth with no chatter , original muncie 4 speed shifted smooth and tight and reverse lockout on the steering column worked in order to remove the keys , rear axle is the 3.91 Oldsmobile rearend and was smooth and no whine, or vibrations, posi track worked just fine :) :) :).new stainless dual exhaust with headers , and flowmaster mufflers , and trumpet exhaust tips .
