Description
Power comes from a 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Other equipment includes “double-hump” cylinder heads, a Holley intake manifold, an Edelbrock carburetor, side-exit dual exhaust, a limited-slip rear differential, a 4? suspension lift with Rancho remote-reservoir dampers, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, a removable black hardtop, a safari-style canvas top, a six-point roll cage, and an aftermarket audio system. 11:1 gears, and also installed 15×10? steel wheels, General Grabber tires, polyurethane chassis and suspension bushings, and Speedhut instrumentation. The body exhibits paint chips, scratches, and wear, particularly where the removable hardtop meets the body. Steel 15×10? wheels wear factory “dog-dish” hubcaps and are mounted with 35×12. 50? General Grabber tires, with a matching spare stored behind the rear seat. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs that use Chevrolet S-10 front calipers in the rear, eliminating the factory parking brake. The suspension has been modified with a 4? suspension lift that consists of Superlift front springs, Skyjacker rear springs, and Rancho RS9000 remote-reservoir dampers. The interior was reportedly reupholstered in black vinyl during the refurbishment, and patterned protective seat covers are in place in most of the accompanying photos. A padded six-point roll cage helps support the full-length safari top, and other interior amenities include woodgrain trim on the door panels, center-console storage with cupholders, and a Bluetooth-capable Kenwood head unit that plays through a Rockford Fosgate amplifier and speakers.
