Description
The car is finished in Starmist Blue over a matching two-tone interior, and additional equipment includes a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive, Kelsey-Hayes wheels, a Town and Country radio, a navy blue soft top, and a removable porthole hardtop. Several cosmetic revisions were introduced for the Thunderbird in 1957, including a reshaped grille, larger tail fins and taillights, and exhaust ports integrated into the rear bumpers. The exterior was refinished in Starmist Blue (FF) during the refurbishment, and notable features include tinted glass, fender vents, and rear fender shields. American Classic wide whitewall tires are fitted to the 14â?³ Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels that are equipped with three-eared knock-off spinners, and a matching spare is equipped in the trunk. Additional photos provided in the gallery show the body-color porthole hardtop as well as the navy blue convertible top in its raised position. Two-tone blue seat upholstery (XL) is accompanied by color-coordinated door panels, a padded dashboard top, and turned-metal trim. Amenities include Master Guide power steering, Sure Swift power brakes, and a Town and Country signal-seeking radio. The selling dealer notes the analog clock does not work. The instrument cluster features a 140-mph speedometer and a 5k-rpm tachometer, as well as gauges for fuel level and water temperature. Actual mileage unknown.
